Martin O’Neill continues to work miracles with this Celtic team with the backing of the fans.
A win at Pittodrie was a must on Wednesday and Celtic duly delivered.
The third game of a daunting away quartet of fixtures has now been negotiated unscathed with wins against Aberdeen and Stuttgart on top of the draw at Ibrox.
Next up is a return to Ibrox in the Scottish Cup on Sunday with 7,500 fans ready to liberate the full Broomloan and give the home fans deja-vu of nightmares past.
After that in the SPFL Celtic face Motherwell who are only five points behind us with a game in hand.
ONE FINAL CHANCE TO SUPPORT MARTIN O’NEILL
That game represents the Celtic board’s last opportunity to finally support the team by letting the Green Brigade return.
The team will need every advantage they can get given Motherwell’s form all season.
Then last thing Martin O’Neill and his players need is another dead atmosphere at Celtic Park when Motherwell come visiting.
Is it a coincidence that the recent run of good results have all come away from home?
Motherwell will come to Celtic Park full of confidence and rightly so. They are a well run club who have recruited wisely and have a capable manager in place.
So much so that they have been able to capitalise on Michael Nicholson’s disastrous running of the first team squad this season.

HOW NICHOLSON EMPTIED RODGERS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE
Nicholson’s transfer windows last year seen Brendan Rodgers walk out the door and this January’s incomings have failed to impress with the exception of Julian Araujo.
The board have antagonised and berated us fans at every turn.
We head to Ibrox still without an obvious striker to start and our only options on the right wing remain Yang Hyun-jun and James Forrest.
Lifting the ludicrous ban on the Green Brigade is the only thing the Celtic board can do before the Motherwell game to support O’Neill and the team.
It won’t come close to rectifying all they have done wrong, but it will help keep our slim title hopes intact.
The last time I wasn’t certain Celtic had a better team than Motherwell was back in the Hampden season 1994/95.
FINISHING BEHIND MOTHERWELL?
They came to Hampden in December 1994 and it was a shock that Celtic went two nil up before a Tommy Coyne double got Motherwell the draw.
Motherwell finished that season in second place with Celtic in fourth.
Back then there was hope that the changes Fergus McCann was implementing would get us back to the top, and they eventually did.
But there are no excuses now for not being confident of beating a Motherwell team operating on a fraction of our budget.
That is where this Celtic board and CEO Nicholson have dragged us back to.
Their stewardship of the club is an utter disgrace as is their treatment of us supporters.
But they can still do one last thing to help salvage this season, let the Green Brigade back in to try and kick start the atmosphere at Celtic Park.
If they don’t, they will have thrown away every possible opportunity to support O’Neill and the team.
