Celtic have been on the receiving end of an incredible media onslaught since the final whistle at Fir Park on Wednesday night.
It was rolling news throughout Thursday as all sorts of ‘experts’ were dragged out to express their shock and horror at a penalty decision.
Radio Scotland were broadcasting the views of former referees throughout the day. From Bobby Madden to Steve Conroy and Des Roache, former officials utterly tainted.
Especially Conroy. He thought that he knew the system but went overboard when given a Glasgow Derby in January 2010. He was demoted, took the huff and chucked refereeing two years later.
Sky Sports have had Kris Boyd on a loop.
TalkSPORT have shown an unusual level of interest in Scottish football. All one sided. Led by the deluded rantings of Ally McCoist.
CELTIC TRUST THEIR FAVOURED MEDIA PARTNERS
Celtic’s favoured media partners, Scottish newspapers have been in overdrive.
Every hour a new version of the same angle has been spat out to suit the darkest of narratives.
Driven by Ibrox fan media. The great conspiracy. How John Beaton, Andrew Dallas, David Dickinson and Steven McLean have been delivering trophies to Celtic.
Almost as ridiculous as how the Vatican infiltrated HMRC to force Rangers into liquidation in 2012.
It has been entirely one sided.

Commercial outlets provide content for their audiences, to retain advertisers.
BBC Scotland has no excuse.
Except that their agenda is driven by Kenny MacIntyre, Tom English, Alasdair Lamont and their limited contact books.
Friday is media day at Celtic.
PR chief Iain Jamieson will welcome all of his media chums to Lennoxtown. Barely any of them have any sympathy to Celtic, most detest the club with a passion. Jamieson is comfortable working with them. As long as they don’t criticise the Celtic Board anything goes.

On almost every issue impacting the club Celtic take a vow of silence.
MEDIA BLACKOUT ON THE DAIZEN MAEDA PENALTY CLAIM
With a full range of social media platforms they could have been highlighting the first half penalty claim when Daizen Maeda was wiped out by Calum Ward.
They could have had a few former players on Celtic TV explaining the decisions that have gone against Celtic.
Such as Nick Walsh coming up with a free-kick count of 13-25 against Celtic in the Glasgow Derby despite having 51% possession.
That pattern is repeated in almost every domestic fixture.
Eleven days ago Don Robertson and David Dickinson denied the hoops a clear penalty at Hibs. Ben Nygren was man-handled from the penalty box off the pitch.
Even the KMI Panel of the SFA couldn’t excuse that incident. They did manage to whitewash over the double handball from Joe Newell to equalise.
Fortunately Celtic overcame three incorrect decisions by the on field officials to win the match.
Every Celtic fan knows the DNA pool that Dickinson comes from. Robertson managed to come up with a free-kick count of 1-17 in a Celtic v Hibs match where the hoops had 77% possession.
Robertson will referee Saturday’s SPFL decider between Celtic and Hearts.
WHEN CELTIC DO PLAY THE MEDIA GAME
Celtic know how to manipulate the media to suit their purposes.
Back in September a senior figure bad-mouthed Brendan Rodgers to a friend of Roger Hannah in The Sun. That newspaper remains a trusted partner of Celtic.
The problem at Celtic is that no senior figure at the club cares.
The CEO hasn’t said a word in 2026. In five years Michael Nicholson has managed just two Celtic TV interviews.
Interim Chairman Brian Wilson’s only passion in life is criticising the SNP Scottish Government.
Dermot Desmond, the biggest individual shareholder hasn’t attended a Celtic match in five months. The Dunhill Cup is the only Scottish date in his diary.
While that state of play continues the open season on Celtic will go on. There are no repercussions from the club. That encourages the pile on.
Martin O’Neill will be left to fend off the snipers at tomorrow’s media conference.
Silent Mike will be hiding under his desk while Chairman Wilson finishes off his attack on the SNP for Saturday’s Scotsman.

Who really cares about the media. No matter how you dress it up they will always be anti Celtic. Celtic will let 11 gladiators do the talking on Saturday when they show the country why they are the champions again. And the following week make it a double.
History shows the media hate Celtic so why rise to the bait and challenge them ? It wont prove anything
