‘This is pure comedy’ ‘Who wrote that? Bomber Brown?’ ‘We have truly broken them with them #119’ Extra Festive Fun from Statement FC

Internet bampots were given an early festive treat this afternoon with a new statement of outrage from Ibrox.

In his ninth day in the job, new CEO Paddy Stewart sent out his second statement brimming with indignation due to the League Cup Final defeat to Scotland’s most successful club.

The Aberdeen born oddity has set off at an impressive pace to meet the demands of angry bears, he’ll have to keep that up and now deliver a decent sized January war-chest to keep up with expectations.

Regardless of who is nominally in charge of matters at Ibrox they have to bow to the loudest noises on social media with today’s statement a perfect example of that.

Despite having the staunch trio of John Beaton, Steven McLean and Alan Muir in place for the League Cup Final it seems that they were turned over by the suspiciously named Frank Connor.

This week Connor will be back on duty, firstly at Kilmarnock v Aberdeen then Celtic v Motherwell which doesn’t look like much of a punishment in the eyes of the angry bears still foaming online.

That announcement on Monday afternoon seemed to frazzle the remaining brain cells of many bears just as they are starting to think that they are in the SPFL Premiership title race.

RANGERS FC has contacted the Scottish FA to express serious concerns and ask several questions regarding the swift reinstatement of the two VAR officials involved in the officiating failure during the recent Premier Sports Cup Final. We also note one of the officials has been appointed to an SPFL Premiership match involving the club that benefitted from the error.

The Scottish FA’s actions raise questions about their commitment to improving officiating standards and fostering accountability. While Rangers FC fully respects the independence of officiating appointments and the need for referees to operate without interference, how the Scottish FA handles such high-profile failures directly affects its credibility and public confidence.

Every fan in Scottish football would welcome a move to have match officials announce the club/s that they and close family members support in order for them to be excluded from their fixtures.

In an instant the iron grip of the Lanarkshire Referee Association would be wiped out, paving the way for officials from Aberdeen, Dundee and Aberdeen to be involved in matches involving the two major Glasgow clubs.

Willie Collum was twice given the statement treatment, shamefully the SFA pandered to their newest club with the former RE teacher kept away from matches involving the Ibrox Tribute Act with their most recent statement coming in January of this year via one of their toxic fan media outlets.

Now installed as the Head of Refereeing at the SFA Collum is keen to build bridges with the Ibrox regime and is already receiving rave reviews about being a transparency campaigner by media messengers like Keith Jackson and Kris Boyd.

While Collum concentrates on building his media profile his rapport with match officials becomes strained.

It was Collum that gave Muir a full-time VAR gig, Collum that put him in charge of the League Cup Final but now he has thrown Muir and Connor up to the angry bears to protect himself.

Collum’s next task is to name the match officials for the January 2 Glasgow Derby, today’s statement is a warning of what is expected from Ibrox otherwise another angry statement will be coming out to appease the angry bears.
