Why does Michael Nicholson hate the Green Brigade?

Michael Nicholson has displayed previously unknown determination with his crusade to drive the Green Brigade out of Celtic Park.

In over four years drawing a salary as CEO Nicholson has only given one media interview. Even Gerry McCulloch of Celtic TV has been unable to get a word out of the ‘leading sports lawyer’ outwith AGM presentations.

As we all know Nicholson is driven by the ambition to make Celtic world class in everything that they do. He told us that in June 2023 as Brendan Rodgers returned as manager.

There is absolutely no area that Celtic are world class in.

GARDENING LEAVE

Such is the contempt for supporters that the Golden Retail Goose has been sent on gardening leave. The actions of Nicholson has resulted in Celtic fans boycotting the monthly launch of new kit from Adidas. Not so long ago fans would buy direct from Celtic even when charged more for kit.

Nicholson hasn’t said a word or taken any action about the horrific refereeing that Celtic are subjected to every week. Stand by for a Don Robertson masterclass against Hearts on Sunday.

Nicholson hasn’t said a word or taken any action on the missile attacks Celtic employees are subjected to at Ibrox. Bottles, lighters and vapes thrown at players and physios, Arne Engels felled by a missile taking a corner and the mysterious appearance of broken glass in Joe Hart’s penalty box.

Not a word from Nicholson.

And no reaction to the video clip above.

Strangely a mysterious incident during the October 29 win over Falkirk has certainly gained his attention. The statement template has been adapted into a ‘Supporters Update’. Nicholson has found a new toy.

Between November 7 and December 2 Celtic issued three Supporter Updates all directed at an incident in the match against Falkirk.

The latest version of events from the Falkirk match is

The conduct of the Green Brigade at the match against Falkirk FC when, following an incident in the stadium concourse, around 100 members of the Green Brigade, many of whom took steps to conceal their identity, left the rail seating section and intervened in a violent, threatening and intimidating manner.

A massive downgrade on the claims previously made. The claims used to justify banning 250 Season Ticket holders from three home matches.

DERMOT DROPS IN

At the Falkirk match Nicholson was seated alongside Dermot Desmond.

It is very rare for the Irish businessman to turn up for a midweek match. During the Dunhill Cup at the start of October Desmond Senior couldn’t be bothered with attending a Europa League match against Braga.

At the meeting with supporters led by the Celtic Fans Collective Nicholson admitted that communications needed improved.

DEMOB HAPPY?

In his auto-cue interview at the AGM Nicholson showed a rare flicker of excitement over a new app and an upgrade for Celtic TV. The club hasn’t arranged a Fan Forum since May.

Since Desmond Senior turned up for a match supporters have had three ‘updates’ and the angry outburst from Desmond Mini at the AGM. The CEO has suddenly become energised.

Nicholson’s ‘midas’ touch has managed to deflect from Martin O’Neill’s dug-out farewell tonight against Dundee.

It has cast a shadow over the expected arrival of Wilfried Nancy.

In other circumstances some might conclude that Nicholson is demob happy. If only.

I don’t think this fraud had had an original thought in his existence ( I say existence as to call what he has as a life would be a stretch to the most dormant of imaginations )
He is no more than a well paid puppet of Liewell , surrounding himself with most likely infiltrating free masons , and keeping his mouth well and securely closed .
The sooner DD and his family relinquish their control to real Celtic minded people , the better
