Farewell Princess- Celtic fans salute TikTok Cantwell as serial loser surrenders

Alas it is TikTok no more, around 9pm on Deadline Day the no-mark that is Todd Cantwell joined Blackburn Rovers, bringing to an end his crusade against Celtic.

Over the course of 18 months he promised much, bossed the internet in his only tiny mind before leaving with a whimper after being battered into submission by Greg Taylor and Callum McGregor.

No more will we be laughing away at the keyboard warrior who duped the bears into touting the failed Norwich starlet as a £40m export, in the week that Matt O’Riley was sold for £28m ad Mikey Johnston for £3m it seems that around £500,000 was spent to take TikTok to the bright lights of Ewood Park.

With a significant pay cut required in his weekly wage it would be a shock if Cantwell didn’t negotiate a significant pay off on his way out of Murray Park.

There really are too many highlights to list them all. Denying Reo Hatate a water bottle during a defeat at Hampden is up there with the best moments- that act certainly convinced any doubting bears that their blue ribbon wearing warrior ‘got it’ and hated Selik as much as Billy, Gordy, Stewarty and Roscco.

His last ‘performance’ in the cherished blue jersey was in the Scottish Cup Final in May. After being fouled by Taylor he was substituted by Phil Clement then booked for shouting abuse from the touchline as he took the Walk of Shame in front of his adoring fans before taking his place in the dug-out.

Former Norwich team-mate Adam Idah was the hero of the day with Cantwell grabbed by the neck by his manager with another fake Hard Man act as he confronted assistant referee David Roome at the final whistle. Roome, a good friend of Bobby Madden is a bigger bear than Tik Tok will ever be.

Hopefully there is a staunch Instagram message from Cantwell, hopefully there is a way back for the C-list influencer once Clement is emptied and the next Revolution gets underway.

UPDATE- the staunch Farewell ‘a different Rangers’ yeah, we know that mate
