Brian Wilson- abject failure from Dermot Desmond’s new controller

Interim Celtic Chairman Brian Wilson has turned his back on the vast majority of Celtic fans.

Demonstrating their commitment to the club, the Celtic Fans Collective offered Wilson an olive branch earlier this week.

It was in response to the boards call earlier in the week for unity.

But Wilson has failed to respond to the Collective and in so doing he has dismissed Martin ONeill’s offer to act as intermediary.

Faced with unprecedented levels of fan disillusionment and apathy, the board have opted instead to continue burying their heads in the sand.

Their call for unity within the stadium now appears to be nothing more than a request for protests to stop.

Sit down, behave and give us your cash.

WILSON FOLLOWS HIS LEADER, LAWWELL

No new players have been signed this week meaning no change in recruitment policy either.

An embarrassing attempt to re-sign a seriously out of form Kyogo have been rebuffed by the player.

The club have truly hit rock bottom this week.

And it’s all as a result of Dermot Desmond deciding to put all his faith in the now dismissed Paul Tisdale.

Desmond’s decision to implement the former Exeter managers football vision saw Brendan Rodgers out the door.

Winning 11 out of 13 domestic trophies wasn’t enough for Rodgers to be listened to inside the boardroom.

Nor was12 Champions League points, five sell out home matches and record turnover/profit.

Tisdale was the man with the “vision” of who Celtic should recruit and how the team should play.

So Rodgers had to go and Tisdale chose Nancy to implement his new system.

Step forward the worst manager in the history of the club, lasting just 33 days.

But despite Desmond’s monumental cock up, the fans still offered their support to retrieve the situation.

But that support is clearly not wanted and Chairman Wilson is nothing more than another Desmond puppet. Just like the previous Chairmen.

Appeals for unity are utterly hollow.

The board are not interested even if the fans want to talk and Martin O’Neill offers to mediate.

The dismissal of Tisdale and Nancy on Monday was met with a sigh of relief.

And hope that the season could be salvaged.

But as the week has gone on we can see nothing at the club has actually changed.

To be fair to Shaun Maloney we can’t expect him to untangle in just a week the recruitment disaster Tisdale spent over a year implementing.

But there are other options.

THERE IS A DIFFERENT WAY TO RECRUIT

A return to the recruitment policy adopted by Ange Postecoglu – get external agents in who know what they are doing.

The agents who signed a raft of players that brought us doubles and trebles and millions in sell on fees.

They delivered us Maeda, Hatate and Matt O’Riley in the January window four years ago.

That feels like a lifetime ago given the disastrous transfer windows served up by the club since then.

Step forward Mark Lawwell and Tisdale.

The feel good factor with the return of O’Neill has evaporated as the week has gone on.

The atmosphere at his seven minute press conference confirmed this.

No fan media at the press conference of course.

And there will be no Green Brigade in the stands either with the club continuing their farcical ban.

Just like Nancy, O’Neill is finding out the hard way what support from Desmond means in practice.

No new players and fans banned from supporting the team.

No doubt tomorrow we will see Mark Hargreaves’ stewards grabbing more young Celtic fans by the neck.

The same stewards who looked on and did nothing last Saturday as the racist bile poured out from the visiting fans.

Nothing has changed at Celtic despite the Tisdale disaster highlighting the utterly shambolic running of the club.

Ross Desmond, Yer Da got Tisdale’d.

Embarrassing DD was taken in by that joker. And even more embarrassing is the Exeter and Stevenage dud was listened to over serial winner Rodgers by our incompetent, delusional board. Incidentally, there are strikers out there, plenty of them but they will cost money and that seems to be the problem.

There’s the boy Munteanu from Cluj for a start. But the board, if they are going to spend any money, just to piss the fans off even more, will give it to a Zionist run club for another project signing.

Nail on the head Stevie Bhoy.
BR knew Tidsdale was a scheister and called it out.
But since the Tash & his suits are all egomaniacs, they went with their choice over his knowledge & experience.
They simply cannot admit any wrong.
