The full extent of the catastrophic ‘leadership’ who now control Celtic was revealed at yesterday’s AGM. Dermot Desmond’s grip on the club is total and complete.
Unwilling to face the masses in person, Desmond sent his favoured son along to face the troublesome shareholders and try to put us in our place.
The £900,000 per year CEO was sidelined of course, not a solitary word was heard live from Michael Nicholson throughout the AGM.
BEHAVE!
Chairman Lawwell was in place, barking ‘behave’ at anyone who dared interrupt Desmond Junior as he launched into his fathers latest assault on the Celtic support.
There may well have been other directors and executives at the top table but their presence wasn’t necessary, the Billionaire shareholder was calling the shots from whatever fairway he was hitting on his morning round.
None of these office holders have any say in what happens at Celtic, they are window dressing at best.
The shareholders made their views crystal clear with raised red cards and loud booing when the ‘board’ took their seats.
But the diatribes were already written and prepared for delivery, the mood of the room mattered not a jot.

ROSS WADES RIGHT IN
After a few delays and an adjournment, Desmond Junior finally got to inform us all who his father is now blaming for the toxicity at the club, now that Brendan Rodgers is no longer around.
“We will not be railroaded by those whose only vocation in life is to be anti-establishment” Junior said before going on to brand Celtic fans ‘bullies’.
The rest of his angry rant was a lecture on why every criticism raised by the fans since the summer are wrong because we don’t understand football and finance as well as our esteemed un-elected leader.
By the time Desmond Junior got round to attacking the Celtic fans who attended the recent Falkirk home match the shareholders had had enough.
The jeering from the floor had reached a level that Chairman Lawwell wasn’t willing to accept and the AGM was over.
FULLY REVEALED
Our true enemy has now revealed himself.
Dermot Desmond pays no heed whatsoever to the views and opinions of anyone.
The ‘board’ are only there to provide Desmond with cover, as are the club executives who are perhaps the best paid administrators in the country.
Dermot Desmond is calling the shots and nothing that the fans say or do has any impact on the man.
That a supposed Celtic board and executives sat on mute at a club AGM while Desmond Junior launched a vicious attack on the Celtic support tells us all we need to know.
POWER GAME
Wrestling control of the club from Desmond will take a huge effort and a long time and we have to be prepared for that fight.
It may take a huge depletion of the clubs funds, all raised by the Celtic support, to finally achieve change.
There will almost certainly be a negative impact on the team, its hard to see how the principle shareholder declaring war on the clubs fans wont affect the team on the park.
But its a fight worth having because the club is going absolutely nowhere under the current structure, being run on the whim of an old man playing golf around the world.
CASUALTIES
The first casualties will almost certainly be the Green Brigade who are clearly already in the sights of the 70-something billionaire.
The club have teamed up with Police Scotland and lies are being spread on the club website followed by doors getting kicked in and arrests made.
The Green Brigade need to be supported as they are being targeted for no other reason than them being the front line of the Celtic Fans Collective.
If Desmond manages to sideline and silence them, they will move onto their next target within the Collective.
Celtic fans have a proud track record of chasing charlatans out of our board room and it’s time for that tradition to be revived.
