Twelve days after the draw was made for the Europa League, Michael Nicholson plucked up the courage to announce the price of Celtic’s four match ticket package.
Braga visit Celtic Park on Thursday October 2 at 5.45pm, Season Ticket holders can ensure that they are at that match and the three others for only £140, that is £35 a match for a competition that the first team squad is badly under strength for.
On September 2 last year the club announced the £184 package for four Champions League matches, £46 a time.
Since ‘qualifying’ for the Europa League there has been a huge number of fans on social media opting out of the Home Cup Ticket Scheme which has evolved into the route to get into a ballot for a cup semi or final ticket.
Even at that once hospitality tickets are removed it seems that at best you have a one in three chance of getting a cup final with Celtic being allocated around 23,000 Hampden tickets. It appears that plenty of fans are prepared to miss out on Hampden tickets to ram home a message about the way that the club is being mismanaged.
Since losing out to Kairat Almaty there has been unprecedented levels of hostility aimed at the Celtic board with the silent role of Michael Nicholson being highlighted.
On social media the club has been keeping a low profile, everything they touch is being met with SACK THE BOARD messaging with fans awaiting the announcement for four mediocre Europa League matches that Nicholson couldn’t be bothered putting a capable squad together for.
This afternoon Celtic announced:
The Champions of Scotland are back in European action this month in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League.
Eight thrilling games await, with four of those fixtures at Celtic Park – against Braga, Sturm Graz, Roma and Utrecht. The four-match package is on sale now – don’t miss out on another exciting European adventure under the lights at Paradise!

The announcement comes a few hours ahead of a meeting in Glasgow City Centre open to over 400 different strands of the support including fan media sites and long established supporters clubs.
Unrest was already significant but the events of the weekend reinforced the view that those at the top of the club are completely detached from reality.
Arranging meetings with the Supporters Association, Affiliation and the Irish Supporters is usually an easy win, tell the reps that they are great guys, their support is fantastic, greatly valued and that the club is always looking for ways to improve.
Celtic took the patronising too far when they referenced those three meetings in a horrific statement released at 8.42pm on Saturday, apparently all was sweetness and light, the fan reps were on board and sympathetic to the problems that the club had during the transfer window.
Not so.
Each of those three supporter groups have issued statements highly critical of the club with two providing votes of No Confidence. Technically the votes of No Confidence mean very little but it is quite a slap in the face after sharing tea and biscuits on Friday.
Nicholson is without doubt not a people person, that explains why he won’t speak, not even sharing a cosy script with Gerry McCulloch about how he is such a huge Celtic fan , regardless of his £1m a year salary and perks.
Opinions will be shared tonight, the support has been mobilised and activated, £35 a time for Europa League tickets simply confirms the contempt that Nicholson and his cronies have for the entitled customers (their lifeblood).
Adult – £140 (£35 per match)
Concessions – £112 (£28 per match)
Under 13 – £100 (£25 per match)
No booking fees apply online.Thats the spirit.. chip away at concessions and weans to try and claw some cash back

£140? I’m prepared to offer £37.50 let me know if you’ll accept this offer
— Damon Weir the Champions (@DamonW44) September 10, 2025
I’ll offer £5.50 per ticket, then if
that gets knocked back I’ll offer £6.That’s how business works right?🤔

Knocking about £2m from gate receipts by lowering prices to buy 3 get one free levels, rather than apologising or Michael Nicholson to open his mouth. Tremendous shitebaggery.

No chance are they getting anymore money.
They put us in a place we should be nowhere near.
Weaker team, Weaker Competition,
They can all leave now.
