As fan anger rises with each inactive day of the transfer window, Chairman Brian Wilson has refused to sit down with the Celtic Fans Collective.
Crisis, what crisis?
Wilson’s call for Unity has proven to be just another hollow, meaningless slogan from the ex New Labour Minister.
The man who used to brag about his trips to Revolutionary Cuba to meet with Fidel Castro is now reduced to being nothing more than an errand boy for a Billionaire.
Dermot Desmond’s latest puppet, helping to fleece working class Celtic fans of their cash.
Any hope that we had that Wilson might actually be interested in communicating with Celtic fans didn’t last very long.
His call for Unity was made on the back of Wilfried Nancy being sacked.
WILSON GIVES THE COLLECTIVE THE TRADEMARK SILENT TREATMENT
But within a few weeks the Collective have rightly given up any hope of receiving a meaningful response to their offer to meet the chairman.
It didn’t take long for Wilson to reveal himself to be a chairman in name only.
Yet another stooge who has sacrificed his reputation with the Celtic support to protect the ego of Dermot Desmond.
Of course Dermot Desmond will never have to live with the consequences of running the club into the ground.
Michael Nicholson, Chris McKay and Wilson are left to front it out at the remaining matches this season, facing the fans fury.
Having to pretend they have the authority to do the job they are paid for when everyone knows the silent non executive director calls all the shots.
They are left hoping the guy at the petrol station or the couple at the restaurant aren’t Celtic fans, ready to speak their mind.
Destined to forever be remembered as the fall guys for the season when the mask finally slipped and the board’s utter contempt for fans and an ambitious manager was finally revealed.

DEJA VU- TRANSFER FAILINGS
Another week of the transfer window has gone by without sight of any of the required signings.
It seems clear that when Paul Tisdale was finally found out and shown the door, the club’s entire recruitment department and strategy went with him. A frightening thought.
And yet despite the Celtic board’s legendary disastrous season thus far, they still have an opportunity to salvage an ounce of respect.
Hearts suffered a home loss in the cup at the weekend and look likely to have another key player missing for our visit on Sunday.
Were the board able to finally land just a few of the quality players they should have signed last summer, we could head to Tyncastle with renewed hope.
But that hope disappears with each passing day of this transfer window.
The players we are linked with are uninspiring and we still don’t even manage to land them.
Not only has Martin O’Neill, Shaun Malloney and Mark Fotheringham to rescue performances on the pitch, they are having to identify transfer targets as well.
Should they do so, it will be down to Michael Nicholson to conclude the deals with his lowball derisory offers and unanswered phone calls.
With that recruitment set up it’s little wonder Celtic fans aren’t exactly filled with hope that Martin O’Neill will receive the new players he badly needs.
So it is shaping up to be crucial week. The board have a shot at redemption that they don’t deserve and are in all likelihood simply incapable of grasping.
THE SO-CALLED CHAIRMAN
‘Chairman’ Wilson has already shown himself to be no leader after 20 years of cheerleading for his Billionaire paymaster Dermot Desmond.
A so called Celtic chairman too scared to meet with Celtic fans for fear of upsetting his wealthy benefactor.
This week could decide the destiny of our title challenge.
Winning the league by a single point would represent a colossal failure by the board this season.
And they look incapable of equipping Martin O’Neill with the players to achieve that.

You may want to re write your article as there are a lot of errors
The Collective have made it public that Brian Wilson has acknowledged their letter and a date for discussions is to be agreed
Brian Wilson is a NDE and is the temporary chairman in place to oversee governance of a PLC and has no authority over transfers.
You are jumping on a bandwagon of scaremongerers like Forrest, Knott and McHugh it would be a shame if you drop to their levels of anti Celtic 💩

Hi Dan, how is the chat this morning on CQN? All upbeat and confident ahead of Bologna and Hearts?
Any word on the best run club in Europe signing players to improve the team or just determined to make their O** F*** friends competitive again, a level so low it is now matched by Hearts.
Great to have you reassuring us that everything at Celtic is running so well #celticfamily

Saw my first game at CP… 68 years ago….Saw Celtic fans fight each other with bottles, on the terraces of Hampden Park in the 70’s …and assume it was gang related…So fighting among the support isn’t new….But today, poison is creeping into the support via keyboard warriors, and that is ominous…At a time when we should all be pulling together to solve the issues …we have articles like this one, which receive a comment in reply, showing utter contempt for the writer…and various other Celtic bloggers…Now I ain’t taking sides here…I’m just pointing out the lack of unity in the support…And that ain’t helping one little bit….Sevco and Hearts are loving our turmoil….Sort it out guys.

Former Labour MP Brian Wilson is the man to bring unity, over to you Brido.
