SSB lines up a treat for Celtic fans with Ibrox cheerleaders topping double bill

Celtic fans are in for an absolute treat tonight on Super Scoreboard with the Mensa duet of Kenny Miller and Hugh Keevins fielding the calls.

All season long the less than dynamic duo have been predicting the demise of Celtic while being on standby for cheerleading duties at Ibrox.

Miller has excelled himself this season and spent most of the last week trending on social media after his incredible one man defence of John Lundstram.

There is doubling down and then there is the hissy fit that the media darling threw last Saturday when the Scary Scouser was deservedly sent off for a brutal attack on Alistair Johnston that even Kris Boyd wasn’t prepared to defend.

On co-commentary duties for Sky Sports Miller hit the high notes despite the benefit of slow motion replays of the lunacy from Lundstram.

At half time he was furious at the decision but it was in the post match analysis that he really went off the radar.

Boyd, Chris Sutton, Neil Lennon and James McFadden all tried to guide Miller out of the hole that he was digging but he refused the offer, digging away furiously with the bottom lip trembling like a schoolboy.

Later on Miller appeared on Sportsound for Radio Scotland defending the Lundstram attack before producing a blockbuster column in the Sunday Mail about the travesty of justice.

Hugh Keevins, Celtic, Brendan Rodgers

Keevins has a long record of wishing ill on Celtic, in 2016 he stood alongside Derek Johnstone in tipping Mark Warburton to lift the SPFL title in the excitement of the 2012 Ibrox Tribute Act reaching the top flight.

When Ange Postecoglou lost his first SPFL match away to Hearts Keevins was in top form as he informed readers of the Sunday Mail that the new Celtic boss was Absolutely Not Good Enough. That prediction went the same way as most others.

Throughout this season Keevins has been predicting the downfall of Rodgers and Celtic. If there was a negative angle to be found on anything Celtic related the veteran hack projected it forward to the next match and the consequences of defeat. Meanwhile Micky Beale and Phil Clement were being compared to Pep Guardiola and Carlos Ancelotti.

His predictions, in reality wishes, have been getting bolder and bolder but as Rodgers demonstrated he is a far better manager than Micky Beale and Phil Clement combined as results and the league table illustrate.

In despair last Sunday Keevins performed an incredible back flip by claiming that Rodgers was owed an apology from Celtic fans for doubting his ability to deliver the title. There had been no more consistent critic of the Celtic manager that the star columnists at the Sunday Mail where circulation is now below 48,000 per week.

Gordon Duncan will host tonight’s phone in, trying to keep baiting Celtic fans at bay as they call out the Ibrox cheerleaders over the failure of Clement and his players while Rodgers sees off another Ibrox Revolution!

The fun all starts at 6pm tonight and can be viewed on YouTube as well as the usual audio sources.
