Reality returned to Ibrox tonight as loyal bears watched their heroes draw 1-1 at home to ARIS Limassol.
As Philippe Clement mentioned afterwards, it was progress from the 2-1 defeat away to the Cypriot minnows last month in the first match post-Beale but it never felt that way for the fans inside Ibrox tonight.
Nine matches into the latest Revolution the Belgian magician has now drawn three matches, unless they can win away to Real Betis in a fortnight they’ll almost certainly be looking at Europa Conference football in the new year.
A few VAR assisted wins in the SPFL gave the Gullible & Deluded fresh hope of success this season but even a decent manager would struggle to make something out of a group of serial losers bolstered by Micky Beale’s summer misfits.
ARIS had lost three of their four previous matches but knocked the ball about confidently at Ibrox to get the home fans edgy, especially with Sam Lammers and Jose Cifuentes on the park.

Seven minutes after Shavy Babicka had opened the scoring for ARIS the boos were echoing around the stadium as Todd Cantwell was replaced by Ross McCausland.
The petted lip was out, TikTok seemed to walk off in slow motion, there was no eye contact with Clement before he kicked out at an object in the dug-out. The Poundland Jack Grealish deserves more respect than that.
Wonderboy McCausland equalised in the 49th minute but there was no siege on the ARIS goal with the Cypriots refusing to panic, creating as many chances as their celebrated opponents.
There was more booing at the final whistle as the home fans realised the handover created by The Brains Behind Gerrard, with no January Warchest it could be a long dark winter for the Belgian magician as he tries to outlast his two predecessors in the manager’s job at Ibrox.
I love clement but that substitution was almost as bad as Beale

Disgraceful performance from every single one of them tonight other than a 20 year old academy product

Two games in a row where the squad had to chance to put a stamp in the season, both games they’ve bottled it which a lot of us fans knew they would. Clement doesn’t help himself sticking wi Lammers over cantwell too. This result is embarrassing usual players letting us down

Every time we have a great opportunity these players collapse, that was a very difficult watch AGAIN!!

Some of this team are stagnant and Clement needs to move them on before they get him the sack as well. Leaving Cifu on the park was baffling.

Another terrible performance after the weekend.
Tavernier, Barisic, Danilo, Cantwell, Lammers, Cifuentes and both CBs were all shocking tonight and deserve every bit of criticism.

Had the chance to put real pressure on Celtic in the league on Sunday. Had the chance to go top of the group tonight. Chucked it. It happens time and time again. A group of bottlers.
This squad would get Pep Guardiola the sack, let alone Michael Beale.

Bottle jobs absolute bottle jobs, half this squad doesn’t cut it at any level

In all honesty and without meaning to demean a professional football player, but what the expletive deletive does Sam Lammers have to do to NEVER wear @RangersFC top again?
He contributed nothing to the game.— Steve Anderson (@Gaspodesm8) November 30, 2023
keep butland & macausland & get the rest as far away as possible
