EYELASHES! TikTok Todd creates new first for SPFL footballer

Influential Ibrox ace Todd Cantwell has been promoting the company that has worked on his eyelashes.

After sitting on the bench watching his team-mates lose 1-0 at Kilmarnock the new look has certainly worked wonders for the former Norwich City starlet.

Fluttering his eyelashes in training caught the attention of Micky Beale who brought Cantwell into his side to face Servette with the Scary Scouser John Lundstram dumped onto the bench where he remained despite Scott Wright and Ianis Hagi getting late run-outs.

TikTok had an outstanding 20 minutes as his side raced into a 2-0 lead but a penalty awarded by a non-Scottish referee just before half time allowed Servette to pull a goal back.

Cantwell’s luck was out when he was booked early in the second half, despite playing against 10 men for half an hour there were no more goals but at least one player was feeling good about his appearance.

Wednesday’s performance against Servette has been enough to convince most Ibrox fans that they picked up a bargain when agreeing to shell out over £40,000 a week to bring Cantwell to Glasgow.

A big chunk of those wages can be repaid next week by completing the job on Servette to reach the Play Off stage of the Champions League.

UEFA pay out £5m for reaching the Play Off stage with a further £2m clear expected from gate receipts from the match at Ibrox which is likely to be against PSV Eindhoven.

Reaching the group stage of the Champions League would be worth a pretty penny to Cantwell as he promotes his eyelashes and other endorsements to a global audience.

Tomorrow Cantwell will be strutting his stuff against Livingston, hoping that his side can pick up their first SPFL points of the season.

After drawing at home to Aberdeen last Saturday Livi travel to Ibrox knowing that a draw with keep them ahead of their hosts.

It is understood that wee Davie Martindale doesn’t promote and cosmetic products, to be honest.
