Celtic Supporters Limited has acted quickly to contradict the claims of Brian Unity Wilson.
The day after Celtic announced the signing of Kasper Hogh the so called Interim Chairman chose to address supporters.
It followed the pattern of his previous monthly updates except this one wasn’t on video. No soft-ball questions from Gerry McCulloch.
Wilson claims that the club has been deep in discussions with long established supporters groups over recent months.
The phrase long established is repeated. Not by accident.
Wilson and his cohorts love the traditional old style supporters groups.
Sort them out with a few extra tickets, tea and biscuits and tell them that they are highly valued fans and you have a friend for life.
The Celtic Supporters Association stood by the Kelly’s and White’s till the bitter end while Celts For Change delivered to save the club from possible administration.
The multiple failings of the club matched by contempt for fans proved to be too much last season.
WILSON DICTATES- HE DOESN’T DO GENUINE ENGAGEMENT
First up we had the Celtic Fans Collective. Next up was Celtic Supporters Limited. Then the Season Ticket Holders Alliance.
None of them are long established. Not Wilson’s type of easily manipulated fans.
There is more to the CSL than getting a Hampden ticket and a selfie with Chairman Wilson.
In May they published their 64 page Celtic Paradox.
A substantial publication, highlighting areas of strength and also the areas where Celtic could improve. Showing how other clubs in nations outside the Big Five adapt and thrive. And out perform Celtic in Europe season after season.
Most companies would pay consultants a healthy fee to get something as detailed as the Celtic Paradox.
Insulated by their own superiority complex Wilson and his pale and stake colleagues have a different view.
Like the Kelly’s and White’s Wilson feels that him and his Boardroom colleagues have nothing to learn from outsiders.
Especially from the anti-establishment fans highlighted by Ross Desmond at the 2025 AGM.
@CelticFC CSL wrote to the Celtic board on 9th June requesting a meeting. No reply. Not even an acknowledgement.
Seven weeks later, the club launches “Celtic Connect” a structure they control, with members they choose.

On 18 February Wilson met with the Collective. He promised a follow up meeting within a month. He still hasn’t replied to emails from the Collective.
The main outcome of the so-called fan engagement exercise is that John Paul Taylor has a new job title.
From Supporters Liaison Officer to Head of Supporter Engagement.
Below him a council style structure is being put in place to drain the enthusiasm out of anyone other than committee types.
TOKEN ENGAGEMENT TO KEEP REAL CHANGE AT BAY
Celtic last held a Fan Forum in May 2025. Apparently this will now become a roadshow with the Directors travelling to meet fans in different areas. Treat them like clowns and promise to take their opinions into account.
And deliver nothing.
Today’s engagement statement is simply to deflect attention away from the Collective and CSL.
Last September the Collective raised seven questions about the running of Celtic.
Other than tax issues in Belgium and Germany, imminent sanctions for breaching Financial Sustainability and the CEO’s fear of agents no answers have been offered.
The Paradox sums up the clubs attitude.
Not even a polite decline. Just ignored.
And while the club take that attitude their fake attempts at engagement will also be ignored.
Every board that loses the room convinces itself the silent majority is on their side. That is not leadership, it is the Spiral of Silence. People do not stay quiet because they agree. They stay quiet because they believe speaking up won’t change anything. Silence is not consent.…
