As Celtic were clinching the SPFL Premiership title with a win over Dundee United their success was being shared widely across social media.
The man from the Daily Mail might find trebles tedious but inside Tannadice and elsewhere Celtic fan Just Can’t Get Enough.
There is absolutely no sign of complacency within the players or supporters, success breeds success with the focus gently shifting along to Hampden on May 24 with a win over Aberdeen completing a treble.
The phrase ‘a treble’ has replaced ‘the treble’, they are coming along more frequently than ever before but there is no sign of any dropping of enthusiasm.
Just a few weeks ago it seemed that Celtic were limping towards the 24/25 SPFL title, a 1-0 defeat at St Johnstone was the third in six matches, it seemed like an edge had been lost- as well as the chance to clinch the title on home soil against Kilmarnock.
Over the course of six days Rodgers changed the direction of the season, Derek McInnes’ side were dead and buried by half-time, revenge on St Johnstone secured a place in the Scottish Cup Final with Dundee United the latest team steam-rollered by five goals.
‘Piling on the agony, putting on the style’ sang the fans lucky enough to be at today’s title clincher.

Paddy Power are always quick off the mark on all things Celtic, their social media team have their finger on the pulse with the Dublin based bookie paying out on the title win back in September after a 3-0 win over Phil Clement’s serial losers.
The Belgian Beale was tasked with stopping Celtic, up against Rodgers A Proper Manager didn’t stand a chance even if his early season Can-Can went viral among the laughter and lame excuses.
Don’t forget, the possession stats were only 53-47 in that match, Clement also found refuge quoting xG when the going got too tough, the media messengers nodded along without and follow up questioning.
Barry Ferguson has inherited the brogues and blazer, in years to come his legacy will be that he was the manager at Ibrox when Celtic won their 55th title. Their 13th in 14 seasons.
For Arne Engels, Kasper Schmeichel and Luke McCowan it was their first ever title win, three years ago the former Dundee man was a fan in the stand as Ange Postecoglou got the current title winning sequence underway.
A year ago Schmeichel was playing for Anderlecht, watching his pal Joe Hart’s emotional retirement from playing. Although he missed out on today’s victory the Dane has played a major role in this title win, he was on the pitch, on Sky Sports with his Celtic title win a complete contrast with the epic Leicester City triumph of 2016.
Having scored five goals in their last three matches the Celtic support and social media is looking forward eagerly to next weekend.
This, dear friends, is the noise it makes when a Sevconian mind eventually snaps. https://t.co/EVwGYfG66e
