No Ibrox statement as angry bears squeal over SPFL carve up

Despite a day of howling from angry bears there has been no statement from Ibrox over the post split SPFL fixtures.

Throughout Monday Ibrox fans shared their fears and conspiracies over the final five matches of their season.

Those concerns grew arms and legs during Tuesday. Copies of the fixtures circulated online.

And at 1pm on Monday the SPFL published the five five rounds of fixtures.

The fixtures have been criticised, the days that the matches has been slammed. Even the kick off times attacked, mainly over a Bank Holiday Monday 5.30pm kick off at Tynecastle.

Business as usual for the Gullible & Deluded. They see conspiracies in every aspect of life.

They condemn a refereeing set up that involves John Beaton, David Dickinson, Steven McLean, Nick Walsh, Andrew Dallas and Greg Aitken. Others wait in the wings such as Grant Irvine and Ross Hardie.

IBROX- LAND OF THE CONSPIRACIES, HOME OF THE PARANOID

The fixtures are as straightforward as possible. They are easy to understand.

Clubs play 19 matches at home and 19 away.

To achieve that Celtic get three home matches in the split fixtures. The two other contenders have two home matches.

Celtic will host Hearts and a Glasgow Derby. They have been twice to Tynecastle and Ibrox.

Only the hard of thinking can’t work it out.

As things stand all three clubs in contention can win the SPFL title. Win six matches and you are champions.

A concept that seems to complex for bears to understand.

Andrew Cavenagh apparently ‘gets it’. He met with fans at the recent away match against St Mirren.

He announced a share issue alongside the 6.5% hike in Season Ticket prices.

Cavenagh is now running solo. He isn’t the San Francisco 49ers. He isn’t even 49ers Enterprises. Paraag Marathe, from 49ers Enterprises walked away in February.

Cavenagh has responded to the demands being made on social media.

CAVENAGH THE AXEMAN

He sacked Russell Martin in October. Fans weren’t prepared to accept a Vegan, Buddhist manager. Or a Green Party member.

Soon afterwards Kev Thelwell and Paddy Stewart were sacked.

Cavenagh knows that keeping the bears sweet is the only route that he has to surviving and making a buck on his investment.

So far, at 8pm on the day of the fixture announcement there has been no angry statement from Ibrox.

Three of Danny Rohl’s next four matches are away from home. At Falkirk, Hearts and Celtic. They have taken five points from their last three away games- at Motherwell, Livingston and St Mirren.
