One day after the Celtic Fans Collective announced a fan march ahead of Sunday’s game against Hearts, the Celtic board have launched another attack on the club’s supporters.
And once again it’s the Green Brigade who are being punished for backing the Collective’s drive for change at the club.
Already serving a three home match suspension, that ban has now been extended indefinitely by the club.
The reasons given are as disingenuous and delusional as those conjured up for the initial ban.
It truly is sad to see the club reduced to posting updates that fans don’t believe and are roundly mocked.
DIVIDE AND CONQUER?
The attempts to segregate the Green Brigade from the wider fan base are transparent and laughable.
The board would have us believe their disastrous AGM performance was all down to just 40 Ultras and members of the Celtic Trust.
Don’t believe your own lying eyes.
All those red cards, all that booing, all that rage when Desmond Junior went on the attack, all ignored by the club.
Now we are expected to believe that the clubs new Head of Safety Mark Hargreaves was threatened at the recent AGM.
Green Brigade, AGM, Green Brigade, AGM.
We see what they are doing. So transparent. Anyone outside Celtic’s media messengers can join up the dots.
CELTIC SON- ROSS DESMOND
No matter that all the fans can talk about since the AGM was Ross Desmond’s shameful attack on Celtic supporters. That video can’t be supressed.
Nope, nothing to see here according to the club, not a word about Ross Desmond. A club just trying to blame all the clubs ills, particularly their horrendous attempt at holding an AGM, on the Green Brigade. And the ‘revolutionaries’ in the Celtic Trust.
Only this time it was just two Ultras that frightened the life out of our brave Head of Safety, in the middle of Celtic Park, with every shareholders name taken at the door. In broad daylight. Mid-morning. In a room where the average age was around 50.
This was an AGM that was halted for half an hour because a shareholder attempted to raise a motion. And we are to believe that the Head of Security was threatened and nothing was said or done and the meeting went ahead. And, like the Falkirk incident, not a mention at the time. A former top cop threatened inside Celtic Park.
You would think 25 years of loyal service to the institutionally racist Police Scotland would have prepared Hargreaves to attend such a dangerous environment as an AGM.
BULLYING AND INTIMIDATION
And still no mention from the Head of Safety about the absolutely shameful video of a young fan being swung around by the neck by a club employee on the concourse.
By no means an isolated incident since Hargreaves arrived in the summer and launched a full on attack on all fans in the vicinity of the north curve.

Towards the end of the statement the club drops this whopper “The Club remains open to engaging with the group”.
Except of course we all know that isn’t true.
We know the Green Brigade have been trying to speak with the club to resolve any issues in the standing section.
And they have been ignored.
COMMUNICATION
Just in the same way the club have ignored all Celtic fans since Michael Nicholson’s disastrous tenure as CEO started back in 2021.
Communication remains the only issue where the club have admitted to failings but the credibility gap at this stage seems unsurmountable.
It’s worth remembering that this all began with an open letter asking the board perfectly reasonable questions.
Their reaction to that letter has been to repeatedly attack and demean us fans at every turn, thus revealing the true contempt they have for us.
Where they see this approach going is utterly baffling.
Their stores are lying empty, match tickets remain unsold and the Fans Collective goes from strength to strength.
It’s been said many times that we fans we have nowhere else to go, we wont support another club.
And while this is true, the board must eventually realise that they only have us!
Nobody else is going to buy their match tickets, strips, paradise windfall tickets or dodgy pies.
We can wait them out, they have nobody else to turn to.
And the sooner they realise this the better.
Show your support for the Collective by attending St Marys in the Calton this Sunday before the Hearts game.
And support the Green Brigade’s food drive as we march to Celtic Park.

PLEASE STOP referring the Green Brigade as Celtic Fans as IF they represent ALL CELTIC Supporters. The GB are a group of 30 – 50 year old men that manipulate young supporters into NON FOOTBALL related propaganda. These clowns drag Celtic into the Twilight Zone, continuously break the rules, put other especially young fans in danger.
Morons backing them because they do not like members of the Celtic board really need to have a good look at themselves. Both Celtic and Rangers have been warned about conduct by their so called ULTRA’s (Middle aged men who cover their faces) – So what would you all say when GCC gives Celtic a ‘partial stadium ban’?? OH! Blame the ‘BOARD’ I guess.

Hi it seems, going by this article that Celtic have not addressed the Safeguarding breach by one of their own staff. This is disgraceful. Celtic have a Safeguarding responsibility to all supporters as well as staff and it’s time they recognized it.
I am not of the view that everything the Board does is wrong but .. having attended quite a few matches in the area of the Green Brigade it seems there is a policy of zero tolerance…quite a disgraceful way to treat young paying customers.

You would think after the recent results on the park and MON bringing a bit of levity to the club that our most recent custodians would seize the opportunity to try and bring some harmony to the situation while the team try and win games of football. But no.
Instead, rather than releasing any statement regarding our new manager, they turn their laser focus to our fans. Doubling down on their own toxicity and blaming our supporters for everything, much in the same way they blamed BR.
The thing that troubles me the most is what’s the strategy here? Do they even care about results now?
They certainly don’t care about the fan base. It seems very much to me that there is a “i’m taking my baw back” mentality going on in Celtic towers. They’d rather destroy the soul of the club than lose an argument.
These people don’t care about Celtic. Not another penny. HH.
