The attacks on Celtic fans ramped up again this week by an increasingly desperate and now depleted Celtic board.
At this point, accusing the Celtic support of being violent criminals is the default setting of the current club executive.
Michael Nicholson levelled the latest false accusation against the support as they made their way to Tannadice on Wednesday.
“Abuse” and “threats” aimed at the Chairman according to Nicholson. “Those are behaviours that we have seen from perhaps a very small minority of the Celtic support”.
‘Perhaps’ a small element or perhaps every single Celtic fan, Nicholson wasn’t prepared to be definitive.
“Most recently we had a situation where three of our colleagues were assaulted at Celtic Park on Sunday night after the match,” the CEO continued.
“For me they are not Celtic, eh, they don’t sit with the values of Celtic supporters and the Celtic family”
No arrests, no convictions, no appeal for witnesses, no CCTV footage, no descriptions of assailants, no comment from their partners Police Scotland. Nothing, not a thing.
CELTIC PLAYBOOK
Just another false accusation of violence levelled at every single Celtic fan. A board big on statements and updates but light on evidence.
It’s the playbook they have adopted all season since Celtic fans began pointing out how the club is being run into the ground.
Brian Wilson then gave the game away when he said: “Hopefully within the very near future the minority of Celtic supporters who don’t appreciate what Peter Lawwell has given to Celtic will come to do so”.
Big Peter is obviously feeling very unappreciated on his way out the door so the malcontents have to be criticised for their lack of appreciation.
And if you have to throw some criminal accusations at the ungrateful mob, all the better.
Wilson made no mention of him having stepped into a role that allegedly brings with it “abuse” and “threats”.
Not one single word from the new chairman about the three colleagues who were allegedly assaulted. Time to move on or no joined up thinking?
Laughably, Wilson then signed off the latest attack on us Celtic fans by saying a successful season is possible.
But only “if we are united, surely that is possible, surely that’s what 99 per cent of Celtic supporters want, just give us a chance”.
A six minute diatribe from the chairman and CEO that brands us Celtic fans as violent criminals then asks us to unite behind our accusers.
Much like suspending 300 Season Ticket holders because 80 were filmed moving to the stadium concourse. Classic self harm. With on field results to back up the actions of a badly out of touch board. While they feed their legacy media partners.
You couldn’t make it up. Or, since it is Celtic maybe you could.
VICTORY TO THE CELTIC FANS COLLECTIVE
It is obviously dawning on them that within a matter of months they are going to be asking us for Season Ticket money again.
The till returns for the Celtic Stores are clearly worse than anyone had guessed at.
The call for unity is desperate but they still can’t quite give up on attacking us in the same breath.
I’m sure by the time CEO Nicholson gets round to asking us all for millions of pounds again he will be able drop the accusations of violence.
The Celtic Fans Collective began with an open letter asking reasonable questions.
We have got to this ridiculous stage of civil war entirely as a result of the aggressive attitude of the Celtic Board.
Rather than engage with the fans they have attacked us at every turn.
The attacks began in the summer before the Collective came into existence.
Bernard Higgins’ mate Mark Hargreaves was hired and the Green Brigade were issued with a suspended stadium ban for showing support for Palestinian genocide victims.
Hargreaves appointment was kept secret and the suspended ban was never announced.
HAVE YOU NOT THE GUTS TO SAY?
The club didn’t have the guts to state their intentions.
As the criticisms of the disastrous start to the season ramped up, fans were invited to meet the club hierarchy.
They were met with intransigence and shrugged shoulders.
From that point on the club really got aggressive.
Brendan Rodgers was anonymously attacked in The Sun and blamed for all the clubs ills.
He was then savaged by Dermot Desmond on the club website upon his inevitable departure.
Next up was the Green Brigade, banned from the stadium following more false accusations of violence.
Ross Desmond then went on the attack at the AGM. His diatribe against the support was so toxic he never even got to finish it.
The Sunday Mail was used to have another pop at us fans, apparently putting up posters is now intimidating.
And now as the team falls apart on the pitch, we have Nicholson’s latest attack.
It’s a sad state of affairs all right.
Given numerous opportunities to finally engage with the clubs fans, Nicholson and the board have instead chosen to vilify and attack at every opportunity.
It is worth remembering at this stage that Celtic started the summer with a winning manager in place, £75 million in the bank and more than 50,000 season ticket holders signed up.
January 3 approaches- only fools would trust Nancy going into that fixture with the support poised to pounce on the Celtic Board.

As soon as I saw/heard the reasons for Pete the Parasite’s resignation I smelt shite.
Not a word of threats of violence prior to this,either from the official club website or in their favoured media partners that ironically very few Celtic supporters read these days.
Now,if we think logically regarding the manner in which fans were arrested in dawn raids for the alleged assault of a lowly paid club steward whom this shameless bunch of charlatans were forced to pay the minimum wage while they hoovered up exorbitant salaries and bonuses that would put the banking fraternity to shame and where the front doors of their houses were blasted off their hinges by Police Scotland with them being dragged out of bed and carted off to the nearest nick leaving older relatives with severe to life threatening illnesses having their mobile phones taken as alleged “evidence ” leaving them no way in which to contact emergency services if they experienced a medical episode !
Yet,here we are now being asked to believe that the actual Chairman of the club was so in fear of his and his family’s lives that he was forced to reluctantly step down from his position in the face of threats of violence from Celtic fans yet Police Scotland have failed to make an arrest relating to ANY of the numerous instances he was alleged to have received.
What alternative universe do these assholes reside in that they think that this absolute nonsense carries any veracity to a reasonably educated person.
Their time is up and they are in the death throes of their corrupt regime and they will resort to any kind of stunt to attempt to stain the Celtic fanbase as a whole OR individually.
They are without shame and the time has now come……….
