That was a complete and utter bottlejob! Watch David Edgar on his Dingwall despair

David Edgar knows the script inside out but as they say it’s the hope that kills them.

The host of the Heart & Hand podcast is one of the biggest noises in Ibrox Social Media circles alongside Jonny McFarlane’s Rangers Review which is bankrolled by Newsquest.

Edgar provides a much more home made service, today he never bothered with the trip to Dingwall despite recently journeying to London to host a Q and A with Paul Gascoigne.

Since the Warburton Revolution Edgar has been getting let down by a variety of Ibrox managers, every time they are welcomed as the Revolutionary to lead the Tribute Act to the promised land but these days it seems like staying in the job for a year is about as good as it gets.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst lasted 366 days, Micky Beale 10 months and now into his seveth month at the club things are taking a familiar turn for Philippe Clement.

Heralded as ‘a proper manager’ because he spoke less than Micky Beale and hadn’t spent his career hiding behind others Clement is apparently the real deal, over in South Africa Dave King is terrified that he is about to get a text message saying that Liverpool, Manchester United or Bayern Munich have enticed Clement away from Ibrox.

That was a complete and utter bottlejob!

Tav, Goldson, Lundstrum, time to shake hands and say goodbye in the summer

Manager got it wrong today, should have made changes at half-time, you watch those goals back and they are horrible.

Manager has had a bad day, players have had a God awful day. Ross County fought harder against relegation today than our players fought for a title and that’s not acceptable to us as Rangers fans. What we witnessed today was unacceptable on every level.

Awful, shables pathetic, really a piss poor performance today.

During the January transfer window Clement brought in Fabio Silva, Oscar Cortes and Mohamed Diomande but only the Portuguese winger was involved today with Clement having to make do with the serial losers that have been accumulated down the years. While Silva and Cortes will return to their parent clubs at the end of the season a binding £4.5m fee has been agreed for Diomamde.

Three of today’s back four have been in place since the start of the 2018/19 season but sadly it looks like there won’t be a bumper new contract waiting for Borna Barisic.

At the full time whistle today the abuse and anger from the away supporters was obvious, Sky Sports struggled to keep them off the screens.

Over the next couple of days Clement and his players will be slughtered across social media, anything less than three points against Dundee on Wednesday wherever the game is played will result in complete meltdown, making life kind of awkward for Edgar and the official fan media partnerS.
