Internet Bampots appear to have killed off Alfredo Morelos’ hopes of a dream move to Fenerbahce.
After three months of inactivity the Colombian ace scrambled together some training kit and flew to Turkey expecting to pick up a lucrative deal as a free agent.
For five and a half years he has been reading tales in the Daily Record about all of the clubs willing to pay £20m and more for his unique striking talents.
Using his ample backside backed up by elbows and fingers gave Morelos a free pass in Scottish football with just six sending-offs and two retrospective red cards handed out by the obliging Scottish officials. In European matches Morelos was sent off twice.
It doesn’t take too extensive a search of the Internet to find prime Morelos with Scott McKenna and Ryan Porteous two opponents that he regularly squared upto.
Pushing, pulling, kicking and stamping were par for the course with those ‘tactics’ not exclusively used against Celtic.
Those former SPFL defenders are now at Nottingham Forest and Watford while Morelos prepares for a long flight home as he waits on that phone call from Micky Beale.

After another underwhelming performance in midweek against PSV Eindhoven from Beale’s £14m strike force there are a growing number of Ibrox fans wanting to bring Morelos home.
As the alleged master of the training ground it seems strange that Beale was unable to get the best out of Morelos when he stepped into Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s shoes last November.
If Beale doesn’t want to go down that route it might be irresistible to his successor as a quick gimmick to get bears onside for the next Revolution!
