After a whirlwind couple of months Ellie Dixon is coming to terms with the sudden ending for Jota on the Wing.
Within the space of six weeks she had gone from strumming the tune on BBC Five Live for Patrick Kielty to performing live in front of 60,000 fans ahead of a Glasgow Derby.
Jota on the Wing became a phenomenon, a catchy tune that caught the magic of Angeball as demonstrated by the Superstar from Portugal.
The player and the fans fed off it, after Dixon had performed pre-match it was Jota that scored what proved to be the winning goal as he took advantage of a John Souttar pass to net past old man McGregor from a tight angle to send Celtic 12 points clear going into the home stretch in the SPFL title ‘race’.
A month later he scored the only goal of the game in the Semi-Final of the Scottish Cup to set Celtic up for a treble with Inverness Caley Thistle the last obstacle.

And then suddenly it was gone, almost overnight he was off to Saudi Arabia to a club that few Celtic fans had heard of a week earlier. Al Ittihad.
Not only had they taken a hero but they also photo shopped the imagery, the memories of the celebrations were now black and yellow.
The Jota spell is over, Celtic fans still have Kyogo with the hunt on for new heroes to replace the former Superstar from Portugal.
You should sue him for lost royalties. He is worth a few bob, he’d not even notice.
