On Monday morning Celtic Underground tweeted about a reduced ticket allocation for Tynecastle, later in the day The Sun and Daily Record were running with the story, likely to have been checked out with Hearts.
Today the popular Twitter account had better news to share- the possibility of Cameron Carter-Vickers signing an a new contract.
Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda and Callum McGregor have all signed improved contracts over the last 10 days which suggests that the club is taking a new approach to recruitment.
Under the previous CEO it seemed that everything was geared towards selling players to Southampton, now with the club flush with cash it looks like they are attempting to retain and reward a core of key players.
Not in terms of leading English clubs but a hefty pay rise, contract extension and perhaps a £25m get out clause could be enough to persuade players like Carter-Vickers that Champions League football and domestic success compares reasonably with life in the lower half of the EPL celebrating survival each season.
Rumour that CCV getting a new contract.

That’s my guess. I think we are creating a new salary tier, but that’s a guess. Nobody has said it explicitly.

Last July Carter-Vickers signed a four year contract following a successful season on loan. Although he is recovering from a knee injury he is in Portugal with the first team squad.
Celtic are rumoured to be considering taking no tickets for Ibrox and no tickets for Tynecastle.
