Jota lookalike at Lennoxtown leaves Celtic fans puzzled

Some Celtic supporters were doing a double take as one fan delved deep into the images from pre-season training at Lennoxtown.

Surely, surely not. There was someone with a fairly distinctive mop of hair, minus the moustache that looked uncannily like a certain winger that has just joined Al Ittihad.

With little direct information coming out of the club the detectives went to work, it wasn’t Brendan Rodgers’ son but it was B team winger Bruno Davidson.

Spookily, like Jota, Davidson can play on either wing as he’s demonstrated over the last two seasons in the Lowland League.

This Superstar didn’t come from Benfica but along the M8 at the renowned Hutchison Vale club which has developed players such as Gary Locke, Paul Telfer, Kenny Miller and Micky Weir.

Davidson will be hoping to impress Brendan Rodgers into including him in the squad for Portugal next week, in the season ahead he’ll be realistically looking to get out on loan to a club at Championship level to kick on from two good seasons in the Lowland League.
