Dylan Levitt won’t be picking up £10m a year tax free at Hibs but the Easter Road club did provide the Welshman with a Jota style Twitter welcome this afternoon.
Late on Tuesday night Al Ittihad showed just how creative their social media team is when they launched a bizarre video announcing the signing of the Superstar from Portugal.
The social media video is now an essential part of any signing, fans expect it rather than a dry website statement.
Clubs have tapped into this market with some young creative types now given the chance to show that on one level Hibs can match up with the riches of the Saudi Pro League.

While Jota was helping Celtic to the treble Levitt went from the high of being in the Wales squad at the World Cup Finals to the misery of relegation as Dundee United hit rock bottom after the SPFL split.
Levitt scored against Celtic in the title clincher at Tannadice in May 2023 and will be looking to do likewise with another shot at the SPFL Premiership next season.
