Celtic haven’t been in Ireland since pre-Lockdown with the Wolves match giving thousands of fans what is effectively a home match to look forward to.
There had been a suggestion earlier in the week that Dublin could stage the Wolves match with a date change but this morning another possible fixture appeared online.
Dublin can be pricey but it is day-trip territory for thousands of fans, as a bonus the Aviva is already gearing up for a friendly between Manchester United and Athletic Bilbao on August 6, the day after a rugby international between Ireland and Italy.
