Chris Sutton is predicting a Celtic title collapse.
The former hoops striker has watched the car crash of the season at every stage.
Losing eight matches in uncharted territory but the SPFL is so bad that Celtic remain very much in contention for the title.
Five wins would take Celtic to 82 points, a tally that only Hearts could match which would theoretically take the title race down to goal difference.
Celtic are currently trailing in that department but winning will come before goal gathering in the coming five fixtures.
Celtic haven’t put together back-to-back convincing performances all season.
Presently it seems that putting in a 90 minute performance is beyond the team despite being on a three match winning run.
That came after the flatest of performances when Celtic lost 2-0 at Tannadice. Recently Martin O’Neill admitted that he doubted the squad after that reverse.
Celtic followed that with a 2-1 win away to Dundee.
SUTTON- THE GRIM RIEPER?
After a 1-0 win over St Mirren in the SPFL Sutton threw in the towel for Celtic’s title hopes.
It was more of the same for 90 minutes against St Mirren in the Scottish Cup. And then things went a little crazy in extra-time. Celtic scored four goals in six minutes. On the back of three goals in three matches in the lead up to Hampden.
The Hampden goal burst has given supporters a sliver of hope.
Sutton isn’t having any of that with a grim prediction for the five post-split fixtures published in the Daily Record:

Falkirk (H) 25 April:
Falkirk suffered major disappointment in the Scottish Cup but they have still have a terrific season. It won’t be comfortable for Celtic – not many games have been – but they will have enough to get three points.
Prediction: Celtic 1 Falkirk 1
*Someone at the Daily Record is having a mare
Hibs (A) May 3:
Easter Road has been a tricky venue for Celtic even when they have been playing well. It will be another difficult test this time around with Hibs playing for Europe and points could be spilled.
Prediction: Hibs 1 Celtic 1
Rangers (H) May 10:
The derby will be huge and a lot will depend on the results elsewhere how Rangers will be feeling going in. Both teams are vulnerable at times and a lot will be on the line, so it could end up in a share of the spoils.
Prediction: Celtic 2 Rangers 2
Motherwell (A) May 13:
Motherwell have struggled of late but they are still one of the teams of the season and have caused Celtic problems in every game. This will be another tough one at Fir Park and it won’t end Well for Celtic.
Prediction: Motherwell 1 Celtic 0
Hearts (H) May 16:
It depends on how the other sides get on but it could be Hearts going for the title. Will Celtic lie down to prevent Rangers winning the league? I doubt it but it will be a nervy final day and another draw.
Prediction: Celtic 1 Hearts 1
That all makes for grim reading. Each prediction on its own is believable.
But after eight SPFL defeats Celtic are still in contention for the title. Five more wins, however achieved could clinch a fifth successive SPFL title.
