After a second successive home defeat Ibrox fans are screaming for the sacking of Phil Clement.
Paddy Stewart told a meeting with the Fan Advisory Board that it wasn’t financial reasons that were keeping the manager in his job, in midweek the Ibrox CEO talked up the Europa League run in defence of the Belgian Beale.
Now in back-to-back home matches loyal bears have watched a 0-3 aggregate against Queens Park and St Mirren, Season Ticket Renewal details will come out in about five weeks time.
The out and out misery of supporters was broken in midweek when Keith Jackson threw them the bone of a takeover from the San Francisco 49ers.
That set of scenes of utter delight across social media as they anticipated owners worth $9bn US being involved in multi-million pound investment with a summer spending splurge down the line according to the legendary Daily Record reporter.
Celtic’s defeat to Hibs at lunchtime had some bears daring to dream, and then the football started with the usual suspects on the team-sheet led by the serial loser that is Captain Disappointed.
A typically stale first half ended 0-0, after the break St Mirren scored with two of their chances with barely a whimper from the home fans.
Those that hung around seemed to reserve their anger for the traditional full time booing.
Clement raced down the tunnel at the final whistle, the players were afraid to go near the Union Bears while the media awaited another set of post match excuses.

Strangely Clement barely offered up any defence for another home defeat, he again highlighted the nervousness of the players which is the ultimate condemnation of the players he he has trained, coached and selected.
The Ibrox media room was treated to more nonsense from a manager sitting on a contract that runs until May 2028.
How disappointing is that performance in the first home game since Queen’s Park?
It’s terribly disappointing because we were so nervous today on the ball and in the duels. I don’t know where it’s coming from. That’s my frustration. It’s my responsibility also to put a team with the right mindset on the pitch. I didn’t see this coming, this nervousness. We were below par almost all game. By far not what Rangers should be today.
Do the players need to take more responsibility themselves?
It’s everybody. In the first place me. We had a plan for this game. It was a good training week with good quality, and I didn’t see that back today. I need to find out the reasons for that and to find solutions.
What did you feel seeing so many supporters leaving so early in the game?
I understand. We were by far the worst I’ve seen in all the time that I’ve been here. so i understand that fans don’t want to see that kind of level. It’s about as a team standing up and showing more quality and finding out where this nervousness came from.
Did some of that (nervousness) come from the supporters?
There cannot be a reason because that’s part of being a player here. That’s part of working here. You know from before. No excuses. If you want to be a Rangers player, you need to cope with these things, and it’s my job also to cope with those things.
On Wednesday the circus leaves Ibrox and hitches into Kilmarnock, roll up, roll up.

Nobody wants to hear the arrogant git say anything other than “I resign”. Horrible character and shit manager. Bursting at the seams with arrogance and absolutely fuck all to back it up with.
Get out our club, fraud. Just waiting for the board to sabotage the sale of Rangers now

Everyone gets nervous , but paid a decent salary to play what a lot of people would love to do , these players need to look at themselves and gee themselves a shake and stop either feeling sorry for themselves and talk on the pitch !! Who coaches dessers the offside rule ??

Pulling on that rangers jersey is one of pride and fight, not one of these have got it, they new a win would get it to 10 points and look at them, shamefull display again, I’m completely disgusted, every supporter must be feeling this now, and the players and manager must go

Its clear players aren’t playing for the manager yet again. Going through the motions with can’t be arsed dont give af attitude. How many managers is that now that have lost the dressing room.

If he’s not resigning or getting sacked then there is absolutely nothing he can say that interests me. He’s a clown

“Team were really nervous”
He needs to go and he needs to go NOW.
If that teams nervous, they can leave with him. Not one of you would be missed. Put the entire youth squad on for the remainder of the season. That’s the only thing the fans will get behind— Big Adam (@_adz85) February 22, 2025
Signs not good and “loosing belief“ at home against St Mirren is unacceptable ☹️ Not good and the seeds for that defeat and the fans leaving the stadium early came from the cup exit last week 😷Shows that we are currently vulnerable at Ibrox☹️I believe change is now required 💙

Been following Rangers since 1986, i remember my first visit to Ibrox like it was yesterday as an 8 year old boy. NEVER since then have I felt as disappointed and disgusted as I do now.

Apparently there is a ‘ go fund me ‘ plea page from those badly aching theRangers bears and bearettes to pay for big Pips severance pay and get rid off him tout suite as they say in Belgium ? Rumour has it that it has raised £ 49 paltry pounds ..so has a way to go !
