‘Well said Agent baldy’ ‘can’t stop talking about Celtic’ ‘absolute banger’ Celtic fans share their love for Obsessed Clement

It is not an easy task but Phil Clement does make himself seem more ridiculous with every passing media appearance.

After getting past St Johnstone on Sunday the current Ibrox boss discussed sexy football and referenced Manchester City and winning a treble.

Following another dismal display in which the highlight was an own goal from Jason Holt someone ought to have told Clement to keep things brief and on message.

The Belgian Beale is clearly getting media training, he does earn staunch points by refusing to mention the C  word or any players but that just highlights how inept he is in his job.

Sometimes reporters can lead a manager or player up the garden path to get quotes on a rival but Clement has a novel approach to that old ploy.

Whatever the question he can find a way to discuss Celtic with the not so obvious conclusion that in a few months time his exciting young team will be playing as well as the hoops. Right you are.

They won’t be avidly following their manager in the media but word will get back to the players at Murray Park that the gaffer is praising Celtic again, highlighting the improvement in January signing Nicolas Kuhn, Which says so much about the management of Mohamed Diomande, signed at the same time as the German winger.

Yesterday, previewing a home match with Kilmarnock Clement brought up but didn’t mention Kuhn to broadcasters.

Soon afterwards he was speaking to the daily newspapers where he highlighted the turnaround at Celtic after Brendan Rodgers brought up booing in a match at home to Ross County in January.

Clement will soon get his wish to see Celtic in the flesh, on December 15 the two Glasgow sides will meet each other in the final of the League Cup.

If he can keep damage to a minimum he’ll get another chance against Kuhn and Rodgers on January 2.

With just a Moral Victory and four defeats on his CV Clement knows that he has to find a victory soon over the team that he admires if he is to avoid gardening leave in January.
