During a two hour counselling session for angry bears there was one statistic that SSB carefully avoided tonight.
Gordon Duncan can reel off the Laws of the Game without any question while angling the direction of the conversation to promote and protect his newest bestie, Willie Collum and his lucrative sideline with the SFA.
Hugh Keevins can dig into his achieves to share heart warming stories of the brilliance and generosity of Walter and Ally as he lapped up their trophy successes.
Gordon Dalziel is fairly unique, a genuine character that enjoys his life, has banter and stories to tell with the occasional serious point to throw in.
James Forrest on 25 domestic trophies and Callum McGregor were saluted and credited for their achievements on SSB but there is a fairly obvious conclusion to draw from their successes.
This is the most successful trophy winning period in Celtic’s history, so successful that they have overtaken what every legacy media outlet has described for years as The World’s Most Successful club. Recently that claim has been rather subdued.
Suddenly that phrase is no longer vague, as if word has gone out to play it right down.
Doing a remarkable job this evening guys @ClydeSSB particularly mentioning some stats about Forrest and McGregor but avoiding the worlds most successful club one.

Celtic fans have had their eyes on this ‘prize’ for some time but not in a serious manner.
The self declared Most Successful Club in the World and their gullible support has been a laughing stock for years.
Grown adults that belief that 20 plus League Cup wins puts the 14 European Cup wins of Real Madrid in the shade.
The fans that sat through administration and liquidation doing nothing but who blank out the year 2012 or cling on to tales of the Holding Company Vehicle or forced relegation or the Grand Conspiracy hatched by HMRC.
Celtic’s 2023 Scottish Cup victory over Inverness Caley Thistle took them past the 115 trophies won by Rangers before they died, liquidation was only completed in October this year.
Last season’s double success matched the combined trophy haul of both Ibrox clubs, yesterday that figure was surpassed with no one suggesting a timeline when Celtic will be matched or overtaken. Not even the dumbest of callers to SSB.
The painters and decorators haven’t been spotted yet at Ibrox or Murray Park but the bravado to make that claim has came back to bite with Phil Clement’s exciting young team suffocating under the delusions. Much like legacy media.
