There really is a footballer called Robin Propper and it seems that he is about to become the latest star to join the Clement Revolution!
Having introduced Whyte followed by Green as club ownesr another chapter in the Banter Years opens up as Robin Proper is introduced to the angry bears.
Central Defender Proper turns 31 in September and seems likely to replace Connor Goldson in the centre of defence as Phil Clement races to get a squad together for next week’s Champions League qualifier which is likely to be away against Dinamo Kiev.
Last season Propper started 33 Eredivisie matches as Twente finished in second place to earn a place in the Champions League qualifiers.
He does seem to have a profile that is a step up on the other signings made this summer but it is a big risk to try and put together a new look central defensive partnership as the competitive season gets underway.
Rangers have agreed a deal to sign FC Twente captain Robin Propper.
The centre-back is now expected to have a medical ahead of his move to Glasgow.

John Souttar, Ben Davies and Leon Balogun all come under the category of ‘they have a mistake in them’ with 10 goals lost in the matches against Union Berlin, Birmingham City, Manchester United reserves and Ajax.
Clement has been showing signs of stress after opening up about the lack of transfer funds during a series of interviews while at a training camp in Holland.
Adding that to the nervous rambling address made by Executive Chairman John Bennett creates a picture of chaos at Ibrox with a massive month about to open up.
After opening up away to Hearts on Saturday the focus switches to the Champions League qualifier followed by three ‘home’ matches in a week at Hampden against Motherwell, a Champions League Qualifier then St Johnstone in the League Cup.
At the end of the transfer window there is a trip to Celtic Park to face with James Tavernier the only survivor from the freakish title win season 2020/21.
Clement is expected to be on media duties on Friday to preview his third trip to Tynecastle in nine months.

This great. We can laugh at Rangers sugning players. They can’t laugh at us coz we’re not signing any.

This site can do both. It can highlight and laugh at the Ibrox moonbeams and also spotlight the multiple failings of Michael Nicholson and his mentor to develop and progress Celtic in any area.
