Incredible image emerges of Clement v Cantwell!

After eight months indulgence Phil Clement has finally lost the plot with Todd Cantwell.

From day one the relationship between the D-list celebrity and influencer with A Proper Football Manager has been strained.

Yesterday at Hampden it looked broken as the image below illustrates.

Managers and players know that there are eyes and cameras on them at all times, that explains why they cover their mouths when they are speaking to each other.

Two weeks ago at Celtic Park Clement was afraid to put Cantwell on the park. Amazingly Ross McCausland, Nicky Raskin, Kemar Roofe and Scott Wright were sent on as substitutes while TikTok sat on the bench recalling his Instagram post that a bird can’t fly in a cage.

The cage door was opened for the dead rubbers against Dundee and Hearts with Cantwell responding with two goals, badge kissing and scoffing a Shush Burger.

At Hampden Clement was afraid to start with Ryan Jack or John Lundstram, that gave Cantwell as start in midfield alongside Mohamed Diomanse and Raskin.

It was a typical performance from the former Norwich starlet, high on drama and light on substance.

After 74 minutes Clement had seen enough, it was time for Wright to come on and influence the match.

Typically there was a final show of petulance from Cantwell, throwing a push at Greg Taylor knowing that he won’t be on the pitch to take a 50-50 from the Scotland defender.

After the slow walk round half the pitch with the bottom lip trembling while he clapped the fans Cantwell spent the last 15 minutes of the match in the dug out as Celtic fans erupted with joy as Adam Idah, a former Norwich team-mate notched the only goal of the game.

At the final whistle the cardboard hardman re-emerged, heading straight to assistant referee David Roome to protest over some imagined injustice.

That proved to be too much for his manager who barged in and removed Cantwell from the scene.

It is unlikely to be a summer of love at Ibrox- especially with no club prepared to match the wages on the remaining tow years of Cantwell’s contract.
