Celtic’s B team, minus half a dozen of last season’s regulars over in Portugal, take on Sligo Rovers tonight.
There is usually a high turnover in players at this level with a bit of mystery surrounding the players on show tonight.
Listed in central defender is man of many clubs Trialist, after news earlier today it looks very like young Australian Liam Bonetig who is over from Sydney Western Wanderers. After getting the second half away to Fraserburgh on Jukly 1 he gets the chance to start against senior League of Ireland opponents.

At right-back is Justin Osagie, signed last September after being at West Ham.
Among the substitutes is Ronan Ferns who was strongly tipped to be joining Brighton. Celtic365 understands that the 16-year-old central defender has decided against moving south and has signed a professional contract to continue at Celtic.

Western Sydney Wanderers centre-back Liam Bonetig (2005) has been at Celtic in recent weeks. He played for their B team in a friendly against Fraserburgh, scoring a penalty in Celtic’s shootout win. This comes after he won MVP on the Australian Schoolboys’ UK tour in January.
