In mid-July there is no shortage of Celtic fans dotted around the holiday resorts of the Algarve.
The guaranteed weather attracts visitors all year round with Brendan Rodgers taking his Celtic squad to The Campus in Quinta do Lago for some intensive training work.
Middlesbrough and Chelsea’s u-23 squad have been in at The Campus in recent days but with Celtic playing their first match under new management there is a bit more security than usual to keep any passers-by at bay.
Lots of Celtic fans have travelled here to @TheCampusQDL to see the bhoys but security tossers out in force to stop anyone, let’s see what happens……

The Campus is very close to the town but the area is designed for high quality training with no spectator facilities or gantries to watch the matches. The message to anyone wanting to catch a glimpse of Portimonense v Celtic is KEEP OUT!
Fans will need to scan through social media for any account of the match, Celtic’s social media team might give the match a mention but it is clear that things are to be kept low key ahead of next’s weeks double header in Japan.
