All of the signs point towards Nawrocki being a Celtic player by the time that Rodgers’ squad returns from Japan, all being well he could be preparing for a debut next Saturday against Wolves in Dublin.
Nawrocki and Juranovic were briefly team-mates at Legia with the young defender keeping an eye on how the Croatian flourished with last season seeing Juranovic play in the Champions League, World Cup Finals and Bundesliga within a 10 month spell.
Nawrocki was born and brought up in Bremen, moving to Legia from Werder two years ago with the German side due a slice of any future transfer fee.
Maik Nawrocki suffered a minor injury and will not be at our disposal during tomorrow’s competition. The rest of the players are at my disposal.
Celtic’s move to bring in Maik Nawrocki will cost around £4million plus a hefty 15 percent sell-on fee.
