Ibrox fan media has joined the vast majority of angry bears and have started the call for a change in management. They want rid of Russell Martin.
They aren’t quite calling for the sacking of Russell Martin but there is absolutely no backing for the hipster manager despite the privileged access that they get through media conferences and watching an hour of pre-season training at St George’s Park.
All of the fan media chiefs were won over, they swooned over Martin because he is a great talker, they even joked with him about his failure to wear brown brogues.
They aren’t cracking many jokes these days, after fighting a rear-guard battle to defend Martin the white flag is being looked out.
Wee Stevie from Four Lads is fair scunnered while David Edgar from Heart & Hand is refreshing the scripts used in the final days of Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, Micky Beale and Phil Clement.
They can no longer tell their followers that black is white, claiming that Martin is their Ange Postecoglou is only going to destroy their credibility, even among the Gullible & Deluded.

It’s just not happening. It’s another poor poor show. Three points from nine, three wins in nine, three draws in the league.
Fans have made up their mind. They want Russell Martin out and it’s going to take a hell of a turnaround. He’s got two games this week before the international break and you better believe it.
If this ownership don’t realise Patrick Stewart’s arrogance which he’s displayed since day one that he come in the door. If they do not realise how the support feel and they’ve been warned countless times.
If they don’t realise they’re about to find out we are two defeats away from the Americans and Patrick Stewart and that leadership group finding out exactly what the fans want because the fans do not want Russell Martin.
Regardless of your feelings on them and the fact every single one of us is wanting it to work. It’s just not it’s 1-1 today. It’s more thrown away points. And by the way, fair play. No, no complaints at all with them at all.
Virtually nothing has been heard of from Andrew Cavenagh since he bought his soccer club on June 23 and took them into private ownership.
On July 22 he turned up for the Champions League match against Panathinaikos, said nothing and hasn’t been seen since.
In tandem with the takeover Kev Thelwell was appointed Director of Football with Dan Purdy following quickly as Head of Recruitment. Alongside Martin their football knowledge is focussed on England which explains the concentration on bringing in players like Joe Rothwell, Max Arrons, Nasser Djiga and Manny Fernandez.
That type of recruitment looks as flawed as building teams around Tom Lawrence, Ben Davies and Todd Cantwell.
There is no way back for Martin with the majority of Ibrox fans, no-one is putting up a case for him, there are no shoots of recovery.
If Thelwell won’t sack the manager attention moves up the ladder, Paddy Stewart twice backed Clement before being forced into sacking the Belgian Beale.
Whether Stewart has the power to sack his second, or third including Barry Ferguson, manager this year isn’t known.
This time next week attention could well be on Cavenagh, he may be about to discover some local difficulties with his pet soccer club as fans demand action with only the sacking of Martin preventing the fans from digging out those YANKS OUT banners from 2012.

The international break might well be the time to take stock. He’s running out of road for me, I’m fed up watching this.
