Micky Beale has spilled the beans on the Ibrox finances by revealing that they will balance the books over the transfer window.
According to the loyal messengers the signing of Danilo for £6m took spending to £15m with only the undisclosed fee for Antonio Colak coming in.
Fashion Sakala is expected to complete a £1.5m move to Saudi Arabia in the next few days but there seems to be precious little interest in others in Beale’s bloated squad.
Glen Kamara has been getting touted around with no sign of interest while Scott Wright spent a day in Turkey before returning to Ibrox where his only purpose is to make up the numbers in the UEFA squad.
Beale has a tendency to say far too much in front of the media, speaking today ahead of facing Servette he revealed that around £10m needs to be raised from sales over the remaining 23 days of the transfer window.

Financially this summer, the money going out and the money coming in will even itself out. It’s not like we haven’t gone to the well for the finances to rebuild the squad. We’ve been very clever in our selection and the way we’ve done it in terms of the players who have left. Champions League finance is the biggest you can get in club football. If we do well over the next couple of years in Europe there’s the new competition as well. But forget finances for a minute and think of the status of our club and what it means to the fans and the players.
Beale certainly has his work cut out to balance the books in terms of transfer fees, getting rid of John Lundstram and Kemar Roofe would certainly ease the pressure on the wage bill.
Moving Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent on would have helped the wages budget but most savvy agents will have a grasp of the salaries that Todd Cantwell, Lundstram and Roofe are picking up.
Coming from Italy Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers won’t be picking up less than Morelos while £6m man Danilo was reported by the Dutch media to be offered 40,000 euros a week.
All of those figures mean that it is essential that Beale gets his side past Servette. UEFA pay out £5m for reaching the Play Off stage with the gate money from facing PSV Eindhoven or Sturm Graz guaranteed to bring in at least £2m.
After today’s slip up in front of the cameras the Ibrox power-brokers will be dreading the next secret that Beale gives away as he tries to deflect away from his own multiple failings.

As usual the scum have gambled with going all in, hoping for the riches on offer from CL.
No doubt that the wage bill has been INCREASED upon last season already, and the dopey eejits couldn’t even afford that last season?
Seems like the scum enjoy floating about with the threat of liquidation for a 2nd time.
