Celtic are reported to have stepped up their efforts to sign Hyun-jun Yang from K-League side Gangwon FC.
It seems that transfer terms and even sell-on options have been agreed for the winger but the Korean side want to delay any transfer until January once they have completed their league campaign.
With a fee in the region of £2m quoted there should be room to negotiate giving Gangwon extra funds to bring in a replacement.

The Hoops made an approach for the 21yo last month, but the K League side are reluctant to sell during their season.

Kyogo Furuhashi is the only one of six Celtic signings from the J-League that arrived in the summer, the others were all January deals.
It seems that clubs in that part of the world are reluctant to sell players in mid-season but it could all be a ploy to increase the transfer fee.
After signing Oh Hyeon-gyu in January Celtic have experience of the Korean market, with the player appearing keen to make the move it seems like a compromise between the two clubs is getting closer.
