Celtic appear to be very close to signing Odin Thiago Holm from Norwegian side Valerenga.
Nettavisen have been very confident about the story over the last two weeks, believing that the deal is almost wrapped up despite a change in management at Celtic.
Just two days after it was announced that Brendan Rodgers had agreed a three year contract to manage the hoops it appears that the first summer signing is about to be rubber stamped.
Medisinsk test for Odin Thiago Holm i dag. Den gjennomføres i London av praktiske årsaker. Han selges fra Vålerenga til Celtic om han består denne. https://t.co/LqWhA9jS8j

Holm has played in 10 league matches this season for Valerenga with their campaign starting in April.
If the deal goes through as reported he’ll have just over one week to prepare for pre-season training with Celtic although he will be a step or two ahead of his new team-mates.
The 20-year-old appears able to play in any midfield role but Celtic are already well covered in that area of the park with David Turnbull, Tomoki Iwata and Aaron Mooy all struggling to start matches in their preferred positions.
